OREANDA-NEWS. December 1, 2011. In Kiev took place the Uniting Congress of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, which was attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, First Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Iryna Akimova, Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Sergiy Tigipko, Heads of regional state administrations, employers' delegations from 15 countries, including Russia, Poland, Turkey, Greece and other countries, and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Association "Ukrautoprom".

The Uniting Congress of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine was held under the motto "Do more for Ukraine!". Ukrainian employers heard the report of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine for the last year and during the round table discussed the issues of Ukraine's economic growth, improving business conditions in the country and increase of the investment attractiveness of Ukraine.

During the meeting of the Federation a new Chairman of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine was elected - President of Joint movement of Employers of Ukraine Dmytro Firtash.

This Congress has completed the unification process of regional and sectoral employers' organizations. Currently Federation represents companies that produce over 70% of gross domestic product of Ukraine. Thus, the Federation has become the only platform to protect the interests of people who create jobs and develop the economy.
