OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2011. In January—September 2011 a direct insurance premium volume of the Samara branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company amounted to 342 mln. rubles, which is a 6 % increase on the same period in 2010.

Insurance premiums for voluntary non-life insurance amounted to 253 mln. rubles (a 3 % increase), including the revenues from property insurance — 236 mln. rubles (a 6 % increase), from liability insurance — 10 mln. rubles (a 20 % increase). 89 mln. rubles in premiums (a 16% increase) were collected from compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO).

During the first 9 months of 2011, payments made by the Samara branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company under direct insurance amounted to 220 mln. rubles, including payments under voluntary personal insurance — 14 mln. rubles, under property insurance — 154 mln. rubles, and under voluntary liability insurance — 2 mln. rubles. Payments under compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO) amounted to 50 mln rubles.

The most rapidly developing business lines in the Samara branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company during the specified period were compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO) and agricultural insurance.
