OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2012. First Ukrainian International Bank has taken the second position in Ukraine Top 50 Banks in 2012, a rating compiled by Kommersant Ukraine and Financial Club analytical group. FUIB is also shortlisted in Top 10 in ten of twelve categories.

The bank tops the category Saving Deposit (current deposits with free withdrawal and crediting options) in the rating of services for individuals. A study showed that FUIB offers the highest interests rates in this type of deposit.

In terms of corporate banking First Ukrainian leads the category Corporate Servicing and takes fourth position in the category Big Business Loans. The bank received high scores as it is one of few in Ukraine able to lend over UAH 1 billion to a big corporate borrower thanks to its authorized capital of UAH 3.294 billion as of 1 January 2012. Also, FUIB offers the highest interest rates on balances of current corporate accounts (4-8%), which put it on top of Corporate Servicing category.

First International runs third for innovations in the category Advanced Technology and IT Solutions for Clients that lists banks with good performance in terms of the average account opening time and price, online access to account, etc.

FUIB received high scores for other retail and corporate services included into the rating. The analysts also highly appraised the performance of bank's managers and included Konstantin Vaisman, FUIB Board Chairman, into the list of five most effective executives in Ukrainian banking sector.

First Ukrainian International Bank belongs to the group of the biggest Ukrainian banks. It is a universal bank, especially active in commercial, retail, and investment banking.
