OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2012. General Director of “Siberian Generating Company” Sergey Mironosetsky has entered the Supervisory Board of Non-Commercial Partnership “Market Council”.

A decision to the effect was taken on June 5 at the annual meeting of members of NP “Market Council” electing a newly composed Supervisory Board.

Sergey Mironosetsky has entered the NP Supervisory Board as a representative of electric energy sellers.

Created in 2008, NP “Market Council” performs regulation functions in the wholesale electric energy and power market (OREM) inclusive of maintenance of a register of OREM participants, elaboration of procedural regulations and control over energy market participants activities.

“Siberian Generating Company” (SGC) group including JSC “Kuzbassenergo” (TGC-12) and JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is engaged in production and sales of electric and thermal energy, additionally providing for heat supply. The group of companies carries out their activities within the Kemerovo Region, the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories and the Republic of Khakassia. “SGC” accounts for a portion of approximately 20% in the total generation volume of the integrated power system of Siberia. The main fuel is coal. The main end market is the wholesale electric power market. Currently, “SGC” is implementing a large-scale investment program within the framework of power supply contracts, the program cost exceeding 78 bln RUR.
