OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2012. The Leningrad region is planning to create an industrial park with an area of 50 hectares for two years, the main residents of which will be the manufacturers of automotive components. 

 According to the vice-governor of the region, Dmitry Yalov, the main purpose of the appearance of the industrial park is to create a new large-scale areas with high security infrastructure, including engineering. "Now the authories of the region choose the most investment-attractive sites for the location of this park. The Leningrad region is aimed at attracting automotive manufacturers as residents in order to form and develop in the North-West region a cluster of the automotive building and auto components together with St. Petersburg, "- said the vice-governor.

 To date the emerging cluster of the region has more than 10 companies. Among them - Grupo Antolin (interior parts), Nokian Tyres (tires), Tenneco Automotive (exhaust systems), "Gestamp-Severstal Vsevolozhsk" (body panels), and the "MV Eurodisk" (wheels).
