OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2013.  The General meeting of participants of Servis-Invest LLC has appointed Oleh Tryfonov the General Director of the company. His previous position with the company was the Head of the Operations Control Department – Deputy Technical Director.

 Tryfonov took office from Iryna Protopopova who had been transferred to the position of the Head of Regulatory Department of DTEK's Electricity Distribution and Sales Division.

 “The new General Director of Servis-Invest is a highly qualified professional with profound knowledge of the company and of the power industry as a whole,” said Igor Maslov, DTEK's Electricity Distribution and Sales Director. “Mr Tryfonov is now facing a number of strategically important tasks, including further technical upgrade of the company’s substations and electricity transmission lines using state-of-the-art equipment, automation systems and IT solutions and maintaining network losses of electricity at the level acceptable for the world’s best electricity suppliers (currently electricity losses in the company’s networks are 1.1%). Furthermore, the General Director will be responsible for ensuring effective running of the company during the transition to the new electricity market model.”

 In 2013 Servis-Invest plans to invest 179 million hryvnias in upgrades of ten substations, retrofits of two electricity transmission lines and renewal of the physical infrastructure.

 “I have been working for Servis-Invest for over 9 year,” says Oleh Tryfonov. “During this period, the company has become one of the leaders among Ukrainian power supplying companies. I believe the skills and professional and managerial experience I gained there will be of great use during the implementation of long-term plans on power facilities upgrade in the time of energy market reforms in Ukraine.”
