OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2013. The company has already opened ticket sale for Kyiv - New York - Kyiv flights for the period from the beginning of April this year. In April-May the company plans to perform 4 pair flights per week with further frequency increase to daily service during the peak season.

Ticket distribution for Kyiv - Beijing - Kyiv and Kyiv - Bangkok - Kyiv routes will be launched as soon as flight schedule on these routes is approved.

Before the summer season starts, AeroSvit will perform some flights to New York, Beijing and Bangkok taking into account loading and need for transporting passengers.
Simultaneously, the long-haul fleet preparation for intensive use in summer season, including interior update, some aircraft' cabin reconfiguration and completion of planned maintenance of Boeing 767 fleet, is scheduled for February-March this year.
Pursuant to the restructuring program, AeroSvit will focus on serving existing long-haul flight network with its further expansion, as well as on passenger transportation with medium-haul  and domestic flights of partner airlines.
In this regard,  AeroSvit suspends its own operation on medium-haul and regional routes in February 2013.

AeroSvit also adjusts its fleet to the flight program. In particular, the company returned one Boeing 767 aircraft (the earliest manufactured aircraft in the carrier's long-haul fleet and the most expensive in terms of leasing) to lessor .
As of today, AeroSvit's long-haul fleet comprises of seven Boeing 767's. The company also gradually returns its medium-haul Boeing 737's to lessors.
