OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) will examine a case against the Federal Agency of the Russian Federation for Air Transport (Rosaviatsia), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 20th December 2012, FAS initiated a case against Rosaviatsia upon signs of violating Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. Rosaviatsia set mandatory recruitments to forward copies of enquiries to “Aerotrans” Centre of Civil Aviation Production-and-Control Services” OJSC for obtaining permissions for unscheduled international flights. согласованные условия and flight specifics were also reported to the applicants through “Aerotrans” Centre of Civil Aviation Production-and-Control Services” OJSC.

“Aerotrans” Centre of Civil Aviation Production-and-Control Services” OJSC is a commercial organization which renders services for organizational support of air traffic, including the service for obtaining permissions for unscheduled international flights.

Thus, the companies providing organizational support of air traffic, were forced to approach their competitor - “Aerotrans” Centre of Civil Aviation Production-and-Control Services” OJSC- to render services to their clients.
