OREANDA-NEWS. NIBULON’s electrotechnical laboratory (hereinafter referred to as ETL), certified by SE Mykolayiv Regional Center of Standardization, Metrology and Certification, has an official permission of the State Service of Mining Supervision and Industrial Safety of Ukraine to carry out hazardous work and has a license of the State Department of Fire Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine. This enables to perform a number of tests and electrical measurements (including voltage of 10kV) which are necessary for normal operation of the companies from different sectors.

NIBULON has the License of the State Department of Fire Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine (dated 01.04.2011, series AG No59500) allowing to carry out technical inspection of devices that protect buildings from strikes at the facilities with high, medium and low degree of risk as to fire safety; the Permission to carry out hazardous work (dated 16.07.2012 No1103.12.30-74.30.0, valid until 16.07.2017), and the certificate of accreditation of the electrotechnical laboratory (dated 27.06.2012 No RN-0069/2012, valid until 27.06.2015).

All the ETL staff has higher vocational education and broad experience, follows all necessary norms and methods regulated by EIC, ROCEI, Safety Rules, and ESSR 40.1-1.07-01, that allows to perform measurement in the shortest terms and in compliance with the standards.

First of all the tests and electrical measurements are necessary in order to estimate the power system status objectively. Nowadays we have no alternative of measurement of insulation state, resistance of grounded devices, etc. Small and large companies, office blocks, restaurants, cafes, hotels, owners of cottages can be interested in services provided by the electrotechnical laboratory. One should remember that current can be dangerous and only the electrotechnical laboratory experts can guarantee operability of your devices after a set of measurements.

The ETL experts are ready to conduct the following types of tests and measurements:

– technical inspection and check of lightning protection devices;

– test of electric protective means: dielectric rubber gloves, dielectric rubber overshoes and rubbers, installation tools with insulated handles (pliers, side cutters, etc.), tong-test instruments, voltage indicators of above 1kV;

– test of electrical equipment of 0.4 kV: measurement of insulation resistance (cables, motors, etc.), “phase-zero” current, measurement of ground loop current using a megaohmmeter, check of metal-on-metal connection of a protective facility;

– test of high-voltage cable insulation using higher rectified voltage.

On completing measurements the customer receives a technical report – official inspection reports:

– report No 1 – measurement of current spreading resistance on the main grounders, grounding of  lines and equipment;

– report No 2 – check of connection between grounder and grounded elements of equipment;

– report No 3 – test of insulation of conductors, cables, and equipment;

– report No 4 – check of protection operation in the electrical installations of up to  1000 V with grounded neutral (“phase-zero” loop resistant).

To perform the above mentioned work our laboratory is equipped with the following equipment:

1) ETL-10 electrotechnical laboratory (cable mobile laboratory) is a mobile electrotechnical laboratory ETL-10 (R-05DP) intended for the following operations:

– high-voltage test and search for damaged cable lines (0.4-10) kV;

– increased rectified voltage test of up to 70 kV;

– test of mains frequency using increased rectified voltage of up to 50 kV;

– leakage current measurement during constant voltage test of 70 kV;

–burning and afterburning of cables using high voltage up to the level of transient resistance which is necessary for operation with an audio oscillator and other equipment to measure breakage distance or to detect fault place;

– resistance control by built-in ohmmeter.

2) АВ-50/70 testing high-voltage apparatus is intended for:

– test of protecting means insulation (rubber overshoes, rubber gloves, electric tools, etc) using alternating high voltage of mains frequency which is regulated within 0-50 kV;

– test of insulation of power cables and solid dielectrics using rectified electric current of up to 60 kV, and also test of solid dielectrics using sinusoidal electric current at 50 Hz frequency;

– determination of liquid dielectric breakdown voltage using voltage of up to 50 kV at frequency of 50 Hz (GOST6581-75);

– leakage current measurement of tested facilities (protective means, dischargers, etc.).
3) 220/380 В SONEL MZC-200 tester of electric networks.
4) ESO 202/2-G and F4102/1-1M megohmmeters.
5) FLUKE-177 digital multimeter.
6) BRYMEN-BM155 pliers-wattmeter.
7)  F4104-M1 microhmmeter.
8)  TS4342-M1 multimeter.
9)  RК-120.1 clamp-on meter.
10) М-416 earth resistance meter.
11) Fluke 2042 professional general-purpose cable locator.

The ETL guarantees:
