Production in April 2013
Domestic production: 50,181 units (up 9.1% year-on-year)
Overseas production: 16,244 units (up 9.2% year-on-year)
Total: 66,425 units (up 9.1% year-on-year).

Production in Jan-Apr 2013
Domestic production: 207,651 units (up 9.9% year-on-year)
Overseas production: 65,705 units (down 3.3% year-on-year)
Total: 273,356 units (up 6.4% year-on-year).

Led by strong demand for the Impreza and the all-new Forester, April production in Japan rose year over year for the 4th straight month. Overseas production in April posted the first year-over-year increase in 8 months setting an all-time record for the month of April. Global production grew for the 4th month in a row posting the highest April production record.

Japan Sales in April 2013
Passenger vehicles: 9,603 units (up 83.4% year-on-year)
Mini vehicles: 3,744 units (up 3.7% year-on-year)
Total: 13,347 units (up 50.9% year-on-year).

Japan Sales in Jan-Apr 2013
Passenger vehicles: 46,911 units (up 36.3% year-on-year)
Mini vehicles: 20,321 units (down 44.8% year-on-year)
Total: 67,232 units (down 5.6% year-on-year)

With strong sales of the all-new Forester and continued high demand for the Impreza, domestic sales of passenger cars increased from a year ago for the 11th consecutive month setting the best April sales record. Mini car sales rose for the first time in 11 months led by the Pleo and the Stella. Total Japan sales posted the first year-over-year increase in two months.

Export in April 2013: 39,108 units (up 31.1% year-on-year)
Export in Jan-Apr 2013: 138,540 units (up 10.6% year-on-year).
