OREANDA-NEWS. Renaissance Capital, the leading emerging markets investment bank, has continued to strengthen its franchise with the appointment of London and Moscow-based equities directors.

Ilya Lobanov has been appointed as a Director in the Equity Sales team, starting on 2 September. He will be based in Moscow, reporting to Evgueni Konovalenko, Head of Russia and CIS Equities. Ilya previously worked as head of sales at Alfa Bank, and prior to that at Goldman Sachs and Uralsib. He has consistently been one of the top performers in the Russian market, and will further strengthen the Firm's established domestic franchise.

Harry Stanford has been appointed as a Director in Equity Sales Trading team, starting in mid-November. He will be based in London, reporting to Christian Lantos, Global Head of Sales Trading. Harry joins us from Barclays Capital, where he ran EMEA sales trading for the past four years. Prior to Barclays Capital, he spent nine years at JP Morgan.
