OREANDA-NEWS. In August 2013, Latvian airline airBaltic carried 296 345 passengers throughout its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. During the first eight months of 2013, airBaltic has transported a total of 1,958,752 passengers.

 In August the airline operated 4,328 flights, or 4% less than in the same period 2012, when airBaltic operated 4,520 flights. During the first eight months of 2013 the airline operated 30,680 flights.

 The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, in August 2013 was at a level of 74%.

 The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic reached a level of 92,2% in August 2013. This is the best punctuality record for airBaltic in August over the past five years. This means that 92 of every 100 airBaltic flights in August departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
