OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2013. The privatization aims to attract private investors in companies representing liberalized branches of the national economy, the press service of the Economy Minister reports.

Besides, in line with the 2013 law on state budget, each sale/purchase of a public-owned asset is levied on 1% of the transaction value. On November, 1 – December, 12, the Agency is again offering for sale cinemas at Glodeani, Telenesti and Leova.

They are sold at a total initial price of MDL 1 million 325 thousand and must be invested in MDL 4.5 million within 3 years after the purchase. Besides, shares of the state in two stock associations and shares of 21 state-owned enterprises are offered for sale as a single portfolio. 17 of them have never been sold before. They are 3 poultry farms, 2 printing shops, 2 design enterprises, etc. Besides, the Zaria Hotel in Chisinau, the Sanatatea health centre in Sergeevka, Ukraine, and shares in Rif-Acvaaparat, Balti, have been put for sale too.

They are asked for a total of MDL 626.9 million. On November, 28, 19 more assets are offered, including 4 incomplete buildings, 7 real estate items, a portfolio of 7 public-owned enterprises and other public-owned facilities. 12 of them are offered for sale for the first time. They are offered at a total initial price of MDL 99.7 million. At Dutch auctions 6 incomplete buildings in villages of Moldova are going to be sold.

They are expected to bring MDL 2 billion 369.35 million. On December, 16-20, at the Stock Exchange of Moldova public shares are to be offered for sale. In particular, shares of 39 stock associations are offered as a single lot. In 17 of them the share of state exceeds 51%. Particularly, the auction was put at 100% shareholdings in Aeroport Handling, Aeroport Catering, and Armo-Beton; 95.07% of shares in Fabrica de Fermentare a Tutunului din Orhei; 94.614% shareholding in Farmaco; the 60.179% shareholding in the Chisinau Hotel; the 59.486% shareholding in Floare-Carpet, etc.

They are asked for an initial price of more than MDL 413.7 million.
