OREANDA-NEWS. In its promotional business KfW is attaching increasing importance to activities concerning climate change and environmental protection. The bank demonstrates its strong commitment in this area, which accounts for roughly 40% of total commitments. This information is derived from the “Facts and Figures Update 2013” published today as a supplement to the Sustainability Reports, which are released every three years. This update is the first comprehensive interim report and is designed to facilitate continuous and transparent communication with the stakeholders.

The Facts and Figures Update 2013 presents the key figures on promotion and financing for the 2012 financial year, as well as on banking operations and the corporate use of energy, paper and water. It also contains information on KfW's current sustainability ratings from the main sustainability rating agencies, all of whom see KfW consistently in the leading group by global standards.
