OREANDA-NEWS. Protek has implemented an electronic document exchange system for its customers - pharmacies and pharmacy chains. From now on, the customers of the largest national distributor can enjoy the option of getting and signing all the bills and invoices online. Launch of the electronic workflow is aimed at increasing the company service level for pharmacy chains.

The key target of the project is to enable the pharmacies and the company to exchange a large number of supporting documents electronically that will help minimize and speed up the workflow as well as decrease paper costs. The electronic document flow system has a digital signature option that eliminates the risk of using the information by third parties.

The company has finished all the testing stages of the system so far and has carried out relevant staff trainings. As of the end of January 2014, more than 1,000 Protek customers are using the system. The company is planning to install the electronic document exchange system in all partner pharmacies within this year.

“If the company and pharmacies exchange huge volumes of information, the advantages of paper-free information exchange are obvious. The workflow for our customers will be easier, quicker and more convenient”, mentions Viktor Gorbunov, CIO of CV Protek.

Earlier, CV Protek has successfully implemented an electronic document exchange system for suppliers.
