KAMAZ Confirms Status of Socially Responsible Company
OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC KAMAZ, a member of State Corporation Rostec, is a leader among engineering companies in the rating of Russian companies’ social responsibility for February 2014.
The Agency of Political and Economic Communications (APEC) together with the Trud newspaper published a regular rating of Russian companies’ social responsibility. KAMAZ improved its positions – now it ranks 12th in the rating of top 30 companies with “a very high level of social responsibility”, which is one point higher than in the previous rating. This position was achieved mainly due to the fact that KAMAZ social welfare expenditures made more than 600 million roubles in 2013. AVTOVAZ ranks 24th and GAZ is 41st in the rating of the APEC.
