OREANDA-NEWS.    Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has signed a three-year contract with Kuwait Petroleum International Lubricants (KPIL) to provide KNPC's refineries and local markets with lubricants.

KNPC said in a press statement that KPIL is a division of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), adding that CEO Mohammad Ghazi Al-Mutairi represented KNPC, CEO Bakheet Al-Rashidi represented KPI, while Director General Pier Paulo Fornu represented KPIL.

Al-Mutairi noted the importance of the KD 6,205 million worth contract since it embodies the constructive cooperation amongst KPC subsidiaries, affirming that all imported materials for KNPC should meet the international criteria. Al-Rashidi on his part said that he was pleased to deal with KNPC, indicating that KPI will carry out the agreement according to KNPC requirements.
