OREANDA-NEWS.    The Bank of Moscow launched a new service for card holders allowing customers to programme PIN-codes for debit and credit cards at any time via the Call-centre. The client can either use a random PIN-code or apply its own one.

Setting up a random PIN-code for a newly issued card instead of a PIN-envelope is free of charge.

Besides, upon receipt of a new card customers can set up any convenient 4-digit combination easy to memorize. This service costs 30 rubles. For premium class cards the service of setting up and changing a PIN-code is free of charge.

Also there is a service for changing a PIN-code via IVR*, which allows customers to set up their own code in case of PIN-code loss avoiding card re-issuance.

The service of changing a PIN-code is available in all areas of the Bank of Moscow operation. The quantity of operations is not limited.

"The possibility to set up one's own PIN-code means additional comfort to customers because there will be no difficulties to memorize the code and the use of cards will become even easier. Implementing such services we first of all would like the Bank of Moscow card to be number one in our customers' wallets," commented Ivan Pyatkov, the Bank of Moscow Distant service and sales department director.

The new service is not offered for non-personified cards, Muscovite's social cards and corporate cards as well as cards without an installed micro-chip.

For more information on PIN-code change please contact the Bank's Call-centre at (495) 925-80-00.

* IVR (English: Interactive Voice Response) is a system of preliminarily recorded voice messages that routes calls within a call-centre using the data entered by the client via a telephone keyboard in a tone mode.
