OREANDA-NEWS. Belarusian Steel Works (BMZ) is launching a tender to select a supplier of pipe processing equipment. The estimated amount of the purchase is USD 100 million, a company representative told.

The supplier is expected to install and assemble the equipment, the source added. In fact, it will be a new plant on the premises of BMZ. The owner of the new plant will be BMZ-Tubulars, a joint company with Belarusian, Austrian and Swiss capital.

Belarusian Steel Works was founded in 1984. In 2012 it was incorporated. The main foreign importers of BMZ products are countries of Europe, the Middle East, Ukraine, the US, Russia and African states.
