OREANDA-NEWS. Trubodetal factory (OSC, based in Chelyabinsk, part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK CJSC) has launched new check-up equipment that will enable specialists to detect defects early on, and will rule out any mechanism breakdowns.

The factory pays close attention to the prevention of machine breakdowns during its operations. To implement the program, which is aimed at upgrading the technical efficiency of production facilities, the factory has bought several instruments: a portable vibration analyzer, capable of detecting the vibration deviations of machines and mechanisms; an oil analyzer which assesses the quality of lubricants; and a thermal imager which tracks thermal background and the way temperatures are distributed along an object's surface. The main advantage of these instruments is that they are portable and easy to use, making check-ups more mobile and fast.

“In working on clients' orders, we need to ensure that the quality of the end-product is very high,” said Igor Voronin, Managing Director at Trubodetal. “The factory's special services make an effort to ensure that all the mechanisms are continuously operating and turning out products which meet the client's requirements. Even minor operating faults can disrupt production technology. That is why we are making considerable investments into increasing the equipment's reliability.”
