OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines and Dellos Air Service presented a renewed onboard summer menu for Imperial class passengers. A tasting ceremony took place in one of the leading restaurants of the Maison Dellos network, Casta Diva, which turned into a center of onboard haute cuisine for the evening.

The guests attending the event were able to appraise the unique for the Russian aviation level of service offered for Transaero's premium class passengers and taste delicious dishes specially created by Dellos Air Service, a part of Maison Dellos, for Imperial class passengers.

Imperial class is Transaero's unique first class specially designed for those passengers who value exquisite, luxurious and exclusive service. This class combines the best traditions of the hospitality of the Russian Imperial family and advanced aviation technologies. Passengers travelling in Imperial class will enjoy extraordinary comfort, attention of VIP managers and an exquisite menu.

Transaero Airlines launched the Imperial class service in late 2008. Currently this class is available onboard Boeing 747-400, Boeing 777, Boeing 767 and narrowbody midrange Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

In the summer season 2014, Transaero offers Imperial class on its flights to Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Almaty, Astana, London, Paris, Tel Aviv, Paphos, Toronto, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Phuket, Male, Mauritius, Seychelles, Beijing, Cancun, Antalya and Malaga. On regular flights to Antalya, Dalaman and Malaga this class is offered for the first time.

At the tasting guests had an opportunity to enjoy new specially designed dishes: duck pie, pear and goat cheese salad, spinach and sorrel cream soup, quail croquette, smoked sterlet, veal chicks with a pear and pastille, mandarin nougat and cherry dumplings.

The new menu was presented by Dmitry Eremeev, Chef de Cuisine of Dellos Air Service. He told about the creation of his gastronomical masterpieces and held a workshop for the participants.

The new summer menu will be offered on international and domestic flights of Transaero Imperial class starting in June 2014.
