OREANDA-NEWS. One more Parallel-branded filling station located at 63, Khimikov Street, Severodonetsk, Lugansk Oblast has resumed its work. The filling station sells all types of fuel usually shown in the assortment. The mini-market is also open.

Over the last two weeks, five Parallel-branded filling stations have resumed their work: one in Donetsk, Krasnyi Liman and Severodonetsk and two in Sverdlovsk. The company believes that they will shortly launch several more filling stations.

The situation in Donbass changed the mode of operation of the filling stations. Today only 100 out of 117 Parallel-branded filling stations keep operating, with some of them open only in the daytime. All filling stations are closely monitored by the security service. There are strict instructions in place for management communication and conduct during force majeure events. The company does its best to ensure safety and security of employees and clients of the filling stations.

"We manage to ensure sustainable operation and deliver fuel almost to all areas of Donbass due to constant monitoring and prompt decisions. The security system implemented in the company helps to save lives and health of our employees," underlined Yelena Khiliyenko, CEO of Parallel.

Parallel reports that the employees who have to stay at home are still paid salaries in the amount specified by the Labour Code of Ukraine. In addition, the company makes additional payments to all employees working in close vicinity to active military operations, including the fuel tanker drivers who have to go to these areas.

"Parallel TM network is the largest in Ukraine. Being a socially responsible business we realize our important role in the region and continue operations to perform our social duty. Our employees demonstrate admirable strength of character, mutual support and team spirit. They realise that our key mission today is to support the viability of the region providing fuel not only to individual car owners but also to companies of all sectors of economy, state-run companies, utility service companies and social organisations (ambulances, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, fire fighting service, etc). Without fuel the region will not survive. That is why our employees continue to do their work," noted Yelena Khiliyenko.
