OREANDA-NEWS. On July 24, 2014 Petrozavodskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1 completed the summer repair campaign in preparation of the city's heating system facilities for the new heating season.

During the period from 2nd until 23rd of July the CHPP specialists carried out a large amount of work on diagnostic inspection and repair of the heating plant equipment, conducted hydraulic tests and preventive maintenance of the heating grids. An important result of the large-scale modernization of the longest section of the transit pipeline in the city center along the Anokhina Street was the installation of the isolation valves in Pavilion No. 3 and heat chambers K-1-31, K-1-34.

"The completed repairs and preventive actions will allow to improve the quality and reliability of energy supply to consumers. We have eliminated a number of damages on the transit pipeline after conducting hydraulic testing, replaced the compensators, fixpoints and structural units," says Alexander Vdovichenko, Director of the Petrozavodskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1, "As for the equipment of the plant, we have conducted the replacement of the bends and clearing of the main steamline and the feed pipeline for the diagnostics. Performed the replacement and repair of the shutoff and control valves, cleaning of the heat-exchange equipment, repair of gas equipment, exhaust ducts and the stack."
