OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2014. A cooperation agreement between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI Russia), the Krasnodar Krai, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar Krai, the Bank of Moscow, and the United Electronic Market Place (UEMP) was signed within the 13th International Investment Forum "Sochi 2014".

The agreement was signed by Sergey Katyrin, Chairman of the Management Board and President of CCI Russia; Alexander Tkachev, Governor of the Krasnodar Krai; Mikhail Kuzovlev, President and Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank of Moscow; Anton Emeliyanov, General Director of UEMP; and Yuri Tkachenko, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar Krai.

To achieve the objective of the Agreement,socio-economic development of the Krasnodar Krai, the Bank of Moscow is ready to finance investment projects worth in total RUB 17 billion in 2014-2016. The projects that are the most important for the Krasnodar Krai are expected to be financed over two years, including projects in the housing and utilities sector, transport (upgrade of city passenger transport), construction of social facilities (construction and reconstruction of pre-school educational institutions, sports and wellness centres, and medical facilities).

Besides, the Agreement also provides for the creation of a centre in the Krasnodar Krai which will develop the procurement system based on the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar Krai, and UEMP. A key objective behind the Centre is to make bidding under Federal Law 44-FZ accessible for small and medium business. The Centre is based on the "single window" principle, when business can get a whole range of financial and banking services connected with bidding not only under Federal Law 44-FZ, but also under Federal Law 223-FZ, and consulting assistance, or have addressed technical issues related to inclusion in the e-trading system. A similar Centre has been functioning in Perm since June.
