OREANDA-NEWS. Shvabe Holding became a partner of the second Annual National Medical Chamber Award that is given to those contributing to the development of Russian healthcare and promoting respect to healthcare professionals.

A solemn award ceremony was held on 23 May 2015, and there Shvabe Holding had a booth demonstrating its latest high-tech medical products, such as a neonatal incubator, an artificial respiration unit, an anesthesia apparatus, a defibrillator, and a neonatal heater.

"For already two consecutive years, Shvabe has been a partner for such reputable and important event. We strive to promote the development of healthcare technology and also expand our geography of supplies. This year, our booth was visited by Mikhail Murashko, Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development; Sergey Kalashnikov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection; Evgeny Shlyakhto, President of the Russian Society of Cardiology; and Leonid Roshal, award initiator and President of the National Medical Chamber; as well as by representatives of the leading healthcare providers of Moscow and Moscow Region. The experts highly praised our neonatal devices that are already supplied to federal perinatal centers in line with the imports substitution program," said Ivan Ozhgikhin, Director of Shvabe - Moscow LLC.

He also said that, in addition to the neonatal devices, healthcare professionals showed interest towards new floor and wall LED lights for healthcare facilities, which can save up to 50% of energy.

The Annual National Medical Chamber Award for the contribution to the development of Russian healthcare and for the promotion of respect to healthcare professionals was launched late in 2013. Now it is awarded in ten nominations. The first Award Ceremony was held at the National Medical Chamber congress in April 2014.
