OREANDA-NEWS. Galasys PLC (AIM:GLS), a market leading provider of integrated amusement park solutions and services to the fast growing theme park industry in Asia, is pleased to announce new contract win with a total value of c. ?280,000.

The contracts were awarded by Wanda Xishuangbanna Theme Park and Wanda Kids Park, both operated by Dalian Wanda Group, currently China's biggest private property developer and the world's largest cinema chain operator.

WANDA XISHUANGBANNA THEME PARK

Wanda Xishuangbanna theme park is part of Wanda's Xishuangbanna International Resort which has a land area of 6 square kilometers (c. 1,483 acres) with a total investment of RMB15 billion (c. ?1.63 billion). In addition to the theme park, the resort will house a sports park, 5-star hotels, a theatre, a commercial center, a hospital and a new tourism town. The resort is expected to attract 5 million visitors annually and will commence operation in 2015.

Galasys is providing its ticketing System to Wanda Xishuangbanna theme park.

WANDA KIDS PARK

Wanda Kids Parks focuses on developing the creative-parenting culture for children aged between 1-12 years. It starts with 9 department stores across major cities in China and the total investment in this development is projected to reach RMB5 billion (c. GBP480 million) by 2020, with an estimated presence at 200 stores in China.

In June 2014, Galasys secured the contract to design and customize the entire ticketing management systems and the membership management module. Following the successful implementation, Galasys will now provide an upgrade to the existing system.
