OREANDA-NEWS. FINNOPOLIS-2015, the first Kazan Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies, organised by the Bank of Russian and the government of the Republic of Tatarstan, will be held on 1-2 October in Innopolis, Kazan's satellite town.

Participants in the forum will discuss trends in the sphere of financial technologies, topical issues related to enhancing the accessibility of financial services and instruments. FINNOPOLIS-2015 will also sum up interim results and outline further steps to implement the Bank of Russia's project on fostering online interaction in the financial market in the framework of the Action Plan (Road Map).

Actions included in the Road Map shall increase the number of financial institutions' online services, reduce paper-based workflow, and also raise the competitiveness of the national financial sector.

The Forum will feature latest domestic and foreign inventions in the sphere of financial market agents' online interaction and modern financial institution automation. The event will be attended by the representatives of state authorities, foreign regulators, credit institutions and other financial market agents, software developers in the sphere of financial technologies, expert community, and also mass media.

The Road Map was elaborated by the interagency working group headed by the Bank of Russia and consisting of the representatives from 12 ministers and agencies. The group was approved by the RF Government in May 2015. The document suggests a coordinated work of the regulator, federal executive bodies and market participants and spans the time horizon till 2018.
