DIRECTV Customers Now Get $500 in Credits for Each Line They Switch to AT&T

OREANDA-NEWS. AT&T is inviting DIRECTV and U-verse customers to take advantage of a new promotion of $500 credit per line for switching to AT&T’s wireless service.

For a limited time, DIRECTV and AT&T U-verse TV customers who switch their wireless lines to AT&T will receive a $300 bill credit for each line they port in when they buy a smartphone on AT&T Next for that line. Plus, customers who also trade in an eligible smartphone will get an additional trade-in credit or promotion card for $200².

As a bonus, these customers can also receive 10,000 Plenti points to use at participating partners if they combine their DIRECTV or U-verse TV and AT&T wireless services on one bill.³

Here’s how it works. If a family of four with DIRECTV or U-verse TV switches four lines from their current wireless carrier to AT&T, buys and activates a new smartphone on AT&T Next for each line and also trades in 4 eligible smartphones per line, they’ll get $2,000 in total credits.

Both AT&T consumer and business customers are eligible for the $500 per wireless line credit offer.

Customers who combine AT&T TV services with eligible AT&T wireless services on a single monthly AT&T bill are also eligible for the $10/month combined bill discount.⁴ The discount will continue as long as the customer keeps both services on a combined bill – an annual savings of $120.

Starting today, customers can get another offer thanks to the combination of AT&T and DIRECTV, the recently unveiled All in One Plan: the first-ever nationwide package of TV and wireless services – all from a single provider on one bill, with special discounts.  The All in One Plan includes HD and DVR service for four TV receivers, unlimited talk and text for four smartphone lines with 10GB of shareable data – all for $200⁵ a month for 12 months.
