OREANDA-NEWS. Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, today announced the launch of SecureStruxure, a fully integrated security management offer, comprising of software and hardware technology. This comes at a time where there is a growing need for integrated security, energy and building management solutions, being driven by the need for smarter and safer Buildings.

SecureStruxure for Buildings provides a value-add plug-in to Schneider Electric’s SmartStruxure solution and is available as a fully integrated security, or as a full building management solution. SecureStruxure enhances Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure offer to provide a fully integrated solution.

Using Schneider Electric’s approach to creating intelligent Building Management Systems (BMS) — SecureStruxure for Buildings offers high and physical security via access control, visitor management, intrusion detection and video surveillance. This is designed to benefit large, medium and small BMS systems. The architecture also provides a single point of monitoring, control and maintenance and is easily implemented with low costs, dramatically reduced operational costs, and flexibility to allow for future expansion and integration of new technologies.

This is the first of a number of security products Schneider Electric and ICT will launch into the market in 2016.
