OREANDA-NEWS  KAMAZ PJSC plans to increase the volume of passenger transport production by 20% in 2024, expands the line with the release of trolleybuses, Samat Sattarov, Director of Passenger Transport of PJSC, told reporters.

"We plan to release about 2 thousand units of passenger transport in 2023. Since last year, the growth is about 30%. We plan to grow by 20% next year," he said.

According to him, in 2024, in addition to buses and electric buses, PJSC begins production of trolleybuses, and is also working on the production of hydrogen transport.

In addition, the company has signed a contract for the test operation of trolleybuses with the Chuvash Republic.

In 2021, it was reported that KAMAZ plans to start mass production of the KAMAZ-62825 trolleybus in the first quarter of 2022, the car is similar to the KAMAZ-6282 electric bus, but differs in a constant power system. Its batteries are fully charged in 30 minutes from the contact network when driving and allow you to move autonomously for a distance of up to 20 km.
