OREANDA-NEWS  Unilever's factories and offices in Russia continue to work to ensure the domestic market of the country, Irina Antyushina, Director of Corporate Relations and Sustainable Development of the company in Russia and Belarus, told RIA Novosti.

According to her, the manufacturer's headquarters reported on the suspension of investments, imports and exports of products to and from Russia. However, Unilever's enterprises in Omsk, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg and Tula continue their work, and its offices continue operating in the country, thus ensuring the availability of brand goods at points of sale, Antyushina noted.

She stressed that the company's priority remains ensuring the quality and accessibility of its products for Russian consumers.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) of Ukraine has included the company in the list of international sponsors of the war because of its refusal to leave Russia.

The company produces products under the brands Domestos, Lipton, Axe, Timotei, Dove, Knorr, etc.

In March last year, Unilever announced the suspension of exports of its products to Russia and imports from it, as well as the cessation of investments in the country and spending on media and advertising.

Earlier it was reported that stores may be allowed to distribute products for free.
