OREANDA-NEWS A meeting of the UN Security Council on the topic of Western arms supplies to Ukraine will be held on Monday, May 20. Dmitry Polyansky, the first Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the organization, informed about this on the Telegram channel.
"We are responding to Westerners on May 20 — at 10:00 New York time (17:00 Moscow time), a meeting on the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine will begin," he said.
The meeting will be held at the request of the Russian side. In addition, a meeting of the Security Council on Ukrainian issues, requested by Western countries, is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14.
