OREANDA-NEWS Russian Andrey Rublev has reached the final of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament in Madrid.

In the semifinals, which took place on Friday, May 3, Rublev met with American Taylor Fritz. The game lasted two sets and ended with the victory of the Russian with the score 6:4, 6:3. The opponents spent 1 hour and 12 minutes on the court.

In the decisive match, Rublev will play with the winner of the confrontation between Canadian Felix Too-Aliassim and Czech representative Jiri Legechka. The game will take place later on May 3.

Rublev has won 15 ATP tournament titles in his career. He is ranked eighth in the world ranking.
