OREANDA-NEWS Blogger and author of the Marathon of Desires project Elena Blinovskaya filed a lawsuit against the Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) No. 6 in Moscow with a demand to recognize the decisions and actions of the service as illegal, it follows from the file of arbitration cases.

The lawsuit, the details of which have not yet been disclosed, was filed on December 26 and has already been accepted for production. The preliminary meeting is scheduled for February 6, 2024.

Blinovskaya, a Russian blogger, creator of the popular personal growth marathon "Marathon of Desires", was detained on April 27 while trying to go abroad. The investigation accuses her of tax evasion and money laundering. According to investigators, Blinovskaya, providing information services via the Internet, using a scheme of "crushing" business, understated the income received and did not pay VAT and personal income tax for the period 2019-2021 for a total amount of over 918 million rubles. At the same time, Blinovskaya attracted her husband and other unidentified persons as accomplices. During the interrogation, the blogger admitted her guilt in full and repented of what she had done.

Blinovskaya and her husband are currently under house arrest.

In mid-December, the Federal Tax Service in Moscow did not satisfy the complaint of Blinovskaya's defense about reducing the debt at least twice, the amount of arrears, fines and penalties is 1.4 billion rubles.
