OREANDA-NEWS  The FSB reported that a man and a woman born in 1999 and 2000 were detained in Crimea, who, according to the special services, sent information about military and equipment to Ukrainian intelligence, as well as planned an explosion on railway tracks.

The explosion was being prepared in the Leninsky district, the FSB Public Relations Center said in a press release.

According to the intelligence service, in October 2023, the detainee was recruited via messenger by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. "In the future, the defendant involved his concubine in fulfilling the tasks of the Ukrainian special services, with whom they photographed and sent to the enemy the places of residence of military personnel, the positions of Russian air defense equipment, as well as the coordinates of the fuel and energy complex facilities on the peninsula," the FSB reported.

In April 2024, "according to the coordinates provided by the curator, the defendants seized an explosive device from a cache in Sevastopol, which they tried to lay under the railway track near the village of Oktyabrskoye in the Leninsky district of the Republic of Crimea," the special service reports.

"They were detained at the time of the crime," the FSB added.

A criminal case has been opened against the detainees under Part 1 of Article 30, part 2 of Article 205 "Terrorist act" and Part Z of Article 222.1 "Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, explosives or explosive devices committed by a group of persons" of the Criminal Code. They are under arrest.

"The attackers confessed to what they had done and are actively cooperating with the investigation," the special service said.
