GAZ filed a second lawsuit against Volkswagen for 28.4 billion rubles

OREANDA-NEWS LLC "Automobile Plant GAZ" appealed to the Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod region with a statement of claim to the German automaker Volkswagen for the recovery of 28.4 billion rubles. This follows from the file of arbitration cases.
The lawsuit was filed on April 7. As follows from the document, the plaintiff demands to recover 28.4 billion rubles from Volkswagen Exciengesellschaft.
There is no movement on the case yet.
In March, the GAZ automobile plant filed a lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod region to recover damages from Volkswagen in the amount of 15.6 billion rubles. VW's assets were seized.
The seizure of Volkswagen's real estate and equipment in Kaluga was lifted by the court on April 3. The alienation of the remaining assets of Volkswagen AG in Russia will make it impossible to enforce the court's decision to recover damages in favor of the plaintiff, the automaker's lawsuit noted.
