OREANDA-NEWS. The leakage of personal data of Moscow residents who had a coronavirus infection did not happen as a result of hacking, but because of the human factor. This was stated by the head of the Moscow Department of Information Technology, Eduard Lysenko.

According to him, during the inspection it was established that there was no unauthorized access or any hacking of the information system of the Moscow government. “The leak occurred as a result of a human factor: the employees who were involved in the processing of official documents allowed the transfer of these files to third parties. The check continues, and measures will be taken based on its results,” Lysenko explained.

Earlier in the Telegram channels, information appeared that a text file was posted containing links to an archive with personal data of Muscovites. After a while, the post with the file was deleted, but a record about it was preserved on Telegram statistics collection sites.
