OREANDA-NEWS Preparations for a large-scale exhibition-forum "Russia" have started in Moscow on the territory of VDNH, within the framework of which the regions will present their own developments and the most important achievements. The event, established by the decree of President Vladimir Putin, will open in early November 2023, the press service of VDNH told RBC Life.

In total, about 70 VDNH facilities will be involved in the exhibition-forum. The construction of additional temporary pavilions has also begun, which will be located in front of the arch of the Main Entrance, on the Main and Central Alleys, in the Northern Square, on Oktyabrskaya Square, as well as near the flower stalls area.

The main idea of the exhibition-forum is to tell about the achievements of the country in recent years and about the unique capabilities of each of the subjects.

Visitors of the exhibition will be able to fly on the simulator of the newest Russian passenger liner MS-21, get acquainted with the cabin and part of the fuselage of the IL-76 in full size, visit the bathyscaphe "Mir", and also with the help of an interactive scanner to learn the history of the mammoth Yuka — a unique mummy of a young mammoth found in 2010 in Yakutia.

The international exhibition-Forum "Russia", which tells about the achievements of the country, was established in March 2023. The Head of State ordered to create an organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the exhibition. The exhibition will open on November 4, 2023 and will last until April 12, 2024.
