OREANDA-NEWS The owner of the Wagner PMCs, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was on the passenger list of the plane that crashed in the Bologovsky district of the Tver region. This was announced on Wednesday evening, August 23, according to the Federal Air Transport Agency.
The plane crash became known earlier that day. Video footage of the incident appeared at the disposal of Izvestia. They show the fall of the aircraft and the fire that occurred after the crash.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at 18:30.
As the Ministry of Emergency Situations later reported, previously, there were ten people on board, three of whom were crew members. They all died.
According to the agency, it was a private Embraer Legacy aircraft flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg. The disaster occurred near the village of Kuzhenkino.
Emergency services are working on site. All the details of what happened are being clarified.
