OREANDA-NEWS  On Tuesday, August 1, Russia launched a service for issuing unified electronic visas for foreign tourists. This is reported on the specialized website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that citizens of 55 countries, including European ones, will be able to receive it. Foreigners will be able to apply for a visa through a special website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or using a mobile application. Travelers must submit an application for its registration no later than four calendar days before the expected date of entry into Russia.

It is clarified that the cost of a visa is approximately $ 52 (4.7 thousand rubles).

Earlier in July, Finland complained about the decline due to the rejection of Russian tourists. So, in particular, business in the east of the country, focused on tourists, is declining after the closure of the border with Russia.
