OREANDA-NEWS Russian fighter jets and air defense forces shot down three Ukrainian combat aircraft in a week, another one was destroyed at an airfield in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

"Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces and air defense means during the week shot down Su-27, Su-25 and MiG-29 aircraft of the Air Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Soldatskoye, Dnipropetrovsk region, Sergeyevka and Kleshcheyevka of the Donetsk People's Republic, as well as an attack aircraft Su-25 was destroyed at the Dolgintsevo airfield in the Dnipropetrovsk region," he said. Konashenkov at a briefing on Friday.

According to him, 39 HIMARS, Alder and Hurricane rockets, four JDAM guided aerial bombs, three HARM anti-radar missiles and two Neptune anti-ship missiles were also intercepted by air defense means during the week.

"In addition, 320 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed and suppressed by electronic warfare," Konashenkov said.

He added that the strikes of missile troops, artillery and drones hit: the launcher of the Buk anti-aircraft missile system in the Burlatsky area of the DPR, as well as three radar stations for detecting and tracking P-18 air targets in the areas of Nikanorovka (DPR), Krinichka and Novobogdanovka of the Mykolaiv region.
