OREANDA-NEWS  Russian border and military posts deployed during the Karabakh war in 2020 will be closed in five regions of Armenia. This was stated by the head of the ruling parliamentary faction of the Civil Contract party Hayk Konjorian, Interfax reports.

According to him, the agreements reached include points in the Ararat, Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Tavush and Gegharkunik regions. Russian border guards will also stop working at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan.

On May 7, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the 2020 trilateral declaration is no longer valid. We are talking about the statement of November 9, 2020, in which the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan announced the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
