OREANDA-NEWS The involvement in employment in Russia has increased by 2.5 million over the past 1.5 years, said Elena Mukhtiyarova, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.

"Over the past 1.5 years, the involvement in employment with a fairly upward trend in terms of demography has increased by almost 2.5 million," Mukhtiyarova said during a speech at the V Forum of Social Innovations of the Regions.

She also added that this trend is observed in various age groups, including among young people. Thus, according to Mukhtiyarova, unemployment among young people aged 15-29 is actively decreasing and now stands at 6.4%.
