OREANDA-NEWS  The Tajik Foreign Ministry reported that about one thousand citizens of the country were "stuck" at Moscow airports.

As stated in the statement of the department, at the end of Saturday, 954 Tajik citizens were in the temporary detention area of Vnukovo airport, among them there are students of Russian universities.

Several dozen citizens of the country are also "stuck" at Zhukovsky, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports.

Earlier, the Tajik Foreign Ministry informed the Russian ambassador to Dushanbe, Semyon Grigoriev, that the republic is concerned about the problems its citizens have been facing over the past few weeks when crossing the Russian border.

As noted by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, Moscow is taking exhaustive measures to resolve the difficulties of crossing the border by foreigners as soon as possible, enhanced security measures at checkpoints are temporary and do not depend on the citizenship of those entering.
