OREANDA-NEWS  The United States intends to impose new sanctions against Russia's military-technical cooperation with the DPRK and Iran. This was reported in the White House, reports TASS.

On January 4, the Wall Street Journal newspaper wrote that Russia allegedly plans to purchase short-range ballistic missiles from Iran. The publication claims that Russia is also cooperating with North Korea on this issue.

Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said there was no evidence of illegal military-technical cooperation between Russia and the DPRK. She also blamed the aggravation of the situation in the region on the United States and its allies.

In turn, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov did not comment on the US statements about Russia's military cooperation with Iran.
