OREANDA-NEWS. UK health regulators have warned citizens with “significant” allergic reactions not to use a drug from Pfizer and BioNTech to vaccinate against COVID-19. This was reported by Sky News.

It is known that two employees of National Health Service faced symptoms of anaphylactoid reaction after the first shot of the vaccine. Both have a history of severe allergies, due to which they had to carry a dose of adrenaline with them. Currently, the health of employees is not in danger. They were among the thousands of Britons who were the first in the country to receive the vaccine.

The United Kingdom became the first country in the world to approve the mass use of the coronavirus vaccine developed by the American enterprise Pfizer and the German company BioNTech. The country has ordered 40 million doses of the medication.
