OREANDA-NEWS  According to the results of January-February 2024, the volume of truck production in Russia increased by 53.1 percent compared to the same period in 2023 and reached the level of 28.2 thousand units. This is reported by Autostat with reference to data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

It is clarified that over the last winter month, 15.3 thousand trucks rolled off the assembly lines in the country. This figure exceeded the level of February 2023 by 21.4 percent.

The total volume of production of such machines in the country over the last winter month amounted to 56.9 thousand units (plus 70.1 percent by February 2023). Thus, in February, Russia produced 14.8 thousand more cars than in January. During this period, citizens' expenses for the purchase of such cars have increased significantly — by almost 100 billion rubles, to 328 billion.
