OREANDA-NEWS Poland has increased the intensity of military exercises, preparing to open a second front to fight Russia — in the form of a conflict with Belarus, says the author of Niezależny Dziennik Polityczny Hannah Kramer.

According to the author, along with the growing military propaganda, Poland is conducting more and more maneuvers, getting closer to Belarus in order to overthrow President Alexander Lukashenko and weaken Russia's important ally in the region. "Last week, the Anaconda-23 exercises, closely linked to the American Defender-23 exercises and the Swedish Aurora-23 maneuvers, were completed in Poland as part of the initiative to combine exercises along the eastern flank of NATO called Exercise Trifecta.

The scenario of the maneuvers includes the entire architecture of the Polish Armed Forces – they involve not only all kinds of troops, but also key elements of the non—military infrastructure of the Polish regions: Northern, Central and especially Eastern Poland," Kramer explained. The journalist stressed that the Polish authorities also took up the training of the civilian population, starting the "Train with the Army" program.

"Unfortunately, the experience of the Germans, French, Turks and other peoples who tried to defeat Russia has not taught us anything. We continue to participate in other people's wars, considering them ours. To find out how such a policy ends, just look at Ukraine: we risk getting millions of victims and a destroyed country, entangled in debts and loans that our children and grandchildren will pay to the US government," Kramer concluded.

The Air Defender 23 exercises will be held in Germany from June 12 to 23. According to the Bundeswehr, 10,000 military and 250 aircraft from 25 countries will take part in them. Special attention will be paid to the fight against drones and cruise missiles of a possible enemy.
