OREANDA-NEWS The positive reviews of American TV presenter Tucker Carlson about Moscow infuriated National Review journalist Charles Cook.

American journalist Tucker Carlson, who recently visited Moscow for an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, visited a supermarket in the capital and admitted that he was shocked by the assortment and prices presented. The former Fox News anchor posted the video on his website.

He noted that, together with his film crew, he decided to purchase products that a family of four could buy. In the grocery cart, as can be seen in the published footage, he put bread, breakfast cereals, cookies, meat, milk, flour, lettuce and oranges.

Carlson was particularly pleased with the Crimean wine found on the shelves of the store, as well as products of foreign brands. He stressed that the anti-Russian sanctions had no effect on the availability of products in supermarkets.

"And we didn't pay attention to the cost, we just put in the cart what we would eat during the week. ... 104 American dollars (9481 rubles) came out," the journalist concluded.

According to him, in the USA such a set of products would be four times more expensive.

Earlier, Tucker Carlson admired the Kievskaya metro station in Moscow. According to him, the station looks better than any facility in the United States.
