Putin reported on the successful coordination of the work of the Russian Federation and Iraq within OPEC+

OREANDA-NEWS Moscow and Baghdad are successfully coordinating work within OPEC+ to stabilize the situation in the global energy markets. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani.
"We are coordinating work within OPEC+ (and we are doing it very successfully) in order to stabilize the situation on world markets. In general, we succeed. And I hope we will continue to work like this," the Russian leader said.
Putin stated that energy is a key area of cooperation between Russia and Iraq. "Our largest companies are working in your country, and very successfully. The total investment volume of our companies amounted to approximately $19 billion. And there are prospects for further development of our cooperation. It is very effective in this area," the Russian President added.
